Hello, My sweet stampers, downline, friends, and customers!!
I know....I've been rather bad about posting and keeping you inspired with some cute projects. It's because even more than I love you, and I love stamping, I LOVE my son Andrew. It's his Senior year, and I made it a point this year to get passionate about him, and passionate about helping him to have a basketball season to remember for his whole life. Like, how can a MOM do that??? Well...let me tell you, I have put in more hours than I could ever tell you in trying to make that happen. Had team dinners, organized Team fun days, made the players and parents Valentines gifts, Organized and raised over 1,200.00 for the Student section to enjoy gifts each home game, organized half time games, with hundreds of dollar in prizes, Spent hours this week making signs, (USED THE BIG SHOT ALOT!), Called sponsors, Made the team breakfast EVERY day last week, and didn't miss a game! (okay, just one when I was at Leadership)...all because I wanted Andrew to have the support and feel the love that I have had for him my whole life. He doesn't drink, he doesn't do drugs, he loves Jesus, and treats girls with such respect. He helps with his siblings, does ANYTHING I ask of him, and has been a piece of my soul since the moment he was born. He loves basketball, so therefore, I will too. Anyway....His season ended on Friday, so now...I can focus again, once more on serving you a little better with pictures, and posting on my blog! Here is a few pictures that I took last week of his last games, Senior Night, and one of a dream come true for me.

Here was my whole family together for his Senior NIght. Each one of his games was a huge outing for us, Because Ryan, my freshman, played on JV, so we would watch his games first. Grab a hotdog or soft pretzel for dinner, and then Andrew's games would start. Erica and Carter have been rasied by a community of people watching them for me during the games. Both of them have been on the news this year, and Carter was even featured on Channel 6 at the start of the season for playing at halftime with the coach.

This was a dream come true for me this past week on Wednesday. My boys got to play together for the first time ever. When I started Ryan in school when he was in Kindergarten, I thought about how the boys would be in school together in high school for one year, and wouldn't it be so cool if they could actually play ball together. Pretty impossible for a Freshman to play on Varsity, but look....here they are! They played for 2 minutes together and Ryan played for 9 minutes during a Varsity District game. I'm so thankful I'll get to watch him for the next 3 years.
Andrew isn't done playing...he's going to Hope college next year to hopefully play for the next 4 years. But, even so...it's very emotional to know he won't be wearing that red and white jersey ever again.
Okay...So I shared with you why I have been gone, and trust me, I'm looking forward to coming back. I've been mastering the use of a video camera so I can post videos, AND...I"m investing in some photography things so I can take better pictures. I'm not going anywhere, just took some time to focus on my family for a little while. When his Open house comes around, I may be MIA for a few weeks then too, but just for a short time!

Here are some stamping projects to inspire you too!
